Rob & Renee 7.10.11

Awww… What can I say about the Miss Renee?? Well!! SO SWEET! We didn’t actually get to meet each other until the day of the wedding when I delivered her bridal bouquet to her, however that did not matter. Renee and I started getting to know each other over the phone as we would share plans for each other’s wedding. I remember fondly all of our conversations… she was so selfless as she would ask me more questions about my upcoming wedding than her own. It’s was so nice to be able to truly relate to her through the whole planning experience. She was flying down from up north for an intimate destination wedding at The Shores Resort and Spa and she knew exactly what she wanted… Glam! Fabulosity! Purple! and a little Rock and Roll!! We shared that same common interest in the Rock & Roll:)I loved how truly open she was to all of my ideas. It’s an honor for a bride to give me complete reign over the design concept, it shows that she truly trusts me.

It truly could not have been a more perfect day for her… there had been crazy Florida weather all weekend! Rain and more rain… oh and wait!! More rain..! But just a couple of hours before Renee was scheduled to walk down the aisle, the clouds separated, the rain dried up and the warm sunlight showed through! Now don’t get me wrong.. you don’t get rain and sun in Florida without a serious case of humidity!!! But all was right with the day, and everything went perfectly.

All the countless hours planning with Linda from Weddings Unique in Orlando sure paid off. The cake was stunning, but we expect nothing less from The Pastry Studio:)And the photography and the videography came out beautifully thanks to Michael and his staff at Michael’s Photography and Video. I know they would all agree with me when I say this.. Thank you Renee and Rob for making us an important part of your day. It was an honor!!
