Bridal Tea Party

A couple weeks ago I went to the High Tea benefitting the Daytona Beach Symphony Society at The Shores Resort and Spa with my boyfriend’s Mom and Grandma. I had such a great time! It was the first official Tea Party I have ever attended. As we sat down, we were immediately greeting with tea poured into our tea glasses. The table was filled with goodies to sweeten our tea. My favorite was the white chocolate dipped teaspoons. YUM. It might have not been very lady like, but I found myself starting to lick the rest of the white chocolate off the spoon that did not melt into the hot tea. Scones were served to the table, and then started the buffet full of small sandwiches, pastries and dessert.

Once the High Tea was sadly over I began my search for beautiful Bridal Shower Inspirations. My eyes were drawn to the blush pink and gold themes. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. By the way, if you like the DIY crafts make sure to check out the lace votives candles by Ellie Snow of Mint and covered vases by Cori Cook. One more note: The chalk board listed with all the different food is genius and a cute way to incorporate extra décor touches!

While searching for the pink and gold ideas, I came across these mesmerizing Blue and Gold Rimmed Tea Cups on Mama Birds Blog. I fell in love with the color. These color inspirations are definitely ideas I will personally be using! DETAIL ALERT: Check out the white Freesia Vases. Any Ideas? They are crumbled old aluminum cans painted white. Thanks Michelle at Wedding Window and Love of the Sea!
